Hi Everyone - sorry this is a little bit late. It's been a crazy past couple of months. Miss Kaitlyn is doing great though. She had her two month checkup on October 31st. She weighed in at 11 lbs 2 oz.(50% in weight) & is 24 inches (90% in height.) We also got 4 shots - daddy will be taking Kaitlyn to the doctor's for shots from now on...We go back for the 4th month checkup in January. Kaitlyn smiles a lot now & can hold her head up. We're still working on tummy time - to get those muscles ready for some crawling! Miss Kaitlyn Alexandra is also sleeping through the night. At nine weeks she started sleeping 8 hours. Just when we thought we had her on a schedule it changed. However, for the past week she's been sleeping 8 1/2 to 10 1/2 hours a night - so great for me!
Kaitlyn's been quite the social butterfly lately. For Halloween, we went to our first playgroup. Kaitlyn had lots of fun w/ all her buddies, Sophie,Brendon, Davis, Avery, and Brady. We now have a fun playgroup that meets every two weeks. Lately, we've been going on lots of walks. We go walking w/ Auntie Heather and cousins Madeline & Wes. Kaitlyn & I go to Nana's house in the OC often and visit w/ Auntie Deanna too.
Almost forgot, Kaitlyn has a favorite song...Jingle Bells! Adam & I have been singing Christmas songs to her since the day she was born. Not having had a baby before, we only knew Christmas carols. Happy the holidays are finally here so we don't look like crazy parents. I promised Kait to pick up some DVDs or CDs soon to learn some other catchy baby tunes. Well, that's pretty much it for now. I will send out another update soon. Hope all is well.
