So the latest saying around our house "We don't mess with Bees or snakes". Miss Kait came up with that one and for good reason. We had a Bee hive in our backyard. Our poor dog Lexi discovered it last week while playing fetch with me. Apparently, I threw the ball right next to the hive and the bees weren't too excited about letting the dog get the ball. Long story short, the next day we had a bee guy come over and Kaitlyn saw him get dressed into a Bee Suit with net, very exciting. So now the hive is gone, but we still don't mess with Bees.
Some other new gems from Kait "alligators don't smell like quesadillas", I have no idea where that came from, but Shelly got a good laugh out of it.
A black SUV was at the stop sign in front of the girls when they were driving to school a couple weeks ago, the black suv drove away, Kait yells "Espera espera black car"! Dora the explora is teaching us spanish (Wait wait black car).
The latest events (other then me getting the flu and being down for nearly a week) included a dinner at Oba's house, a dinner at cousin Madeline and Wesley's house, cousin Mason's bday party, cousin Jeb's bday party, a family trip to Newport Beach (it rained for alot of the weekend, but we still managed to make some sand castles).
Mia had her 9 month check up. She weighs 19 lbs 3 oz. now, 28 inches tall (60% weight, 70% height, 90% head size). Mia has been eating a ton more now, she really likes all kinds of fruits, apples, blueberrys, bananas, the usual stuff. We're still working with her on eating solid foods and trying to crawl. She is getting closer now. She is getting her first tooth now which is exciting for all.
