The Podlich girls started Summer school this month! Yes, and little Miss Mia started attending GPS (The Gifted Preschool) with her sissy Kait. Mia goes to school two days a week (Tuesday & Thursday) and is in Miss Vickie's class ( Mia says Miss Pickie...so cute!) Anyway, she is having a great time, no crying, and Miss Vickie says Mia is just a sweetheart and loves helping out in class. Hmmm, interesting since she doesn't like to clean up the playroom all that much when Adam & I ask...
Kait attends GPS three times a week (Tues, Thursd, & Fri.) Both girls are taking Mandarin and absoultely love it! We listen to their Mandarin CD in the car all the time. Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star & Small World are their faves. Hopefully, we can have them sing to you in Mndarin sometime. This summer the girls will learn about Dinosaurs, Space, & The Hawaiian Islands.
The Podlichs spent the 4th of July with the Schneier Family at their place in Carlsbad this year. Years past we usually go up to the OC. It was a nice change of pace to have a fun local celebration with the kids. Good food, friends, and thank you bubble machine & parachute for entertaining the kiddies! We did see fireworks...on the TV this year though!
Another great trip up to the Newport Beach House too - The Fosters and Schneier families joined this weekend for a BBQ and lots of beach fun. We had 5 little girls at the beach that day under the age of 4. They were all little angels! The weather was perfect and we had a special front row treat to see the 2010 Regatta that weekend. Congrats Newport Harbour Yacht Club for coming in second behind Australia! Enjoy photos...
