So 2011 is off to a good start for the Podlichs! No complaints here, girls are back in school after the holidays and continuing with their ballet and tap lessons. They absolutely LOVE to dance. Cousin Trent celebrated his 1st birthday this month and we all went to see the Garcia Family's new home in San Clemente. Have some cute pics of the kids eating Sesame Street cupcakes with BRIGHT red, green, yellow, & blue frosting (we will post soon.) You rock Auntie D!!!! Madeline also celebrated her 7th birthday in January and had a fun birthday party with dogs, cats, & bunnies too!
SNOWMASS!!!!!
SD Podlich went to Snowmass, CO this year over President's Weekend and it was so much fun! We drove out to Colorado and made a stop-over in Moeb, UT at The Gonzo Inn. We actually are planning on going back their to see the Arches National Park & (my preference) the Dinosaur Trails. Cute little town I must say...
So when we arrived in Snowmass Mia got to see and play in snow for the very first time. We made snowmen and village snow people and did some sledding (Adam took the girls a couple of times...THX!)Kait & Mia were enrolled in Treehouse ski school at the Snowmass village and took to skiing right away. By their last day of ski school, Kait was doing turns, and Mia was speed skiing. We are looking forward to next year! Adam & I got to ski a couple of times by ourselves too which was really fun. Best of all was spending times with the family and all the cousins. Thank you Bill & Pat - you are amazing hosts!
On our way home, we stopped with the Nesbitts in Vegas & took the kids to The World of MM's - girls LOVED this too (of course) anything chocolate for our girls ;) Now we are back home & getting ready for cousin Mason's 3rd Birthday celebration in March at Disneyland, will post pics soon!
