Arizona Fun!

Five and half hours in a car and you would think baby Podlich would be a bit grumpy. That wasn't the case, both ways, out and back to/from the fabulous world of Tempe Arizona, Kaitlyn had few complaints. We did our usual routine for a road trip, pack up and leave before the sun comes up, works great. Kait sleeps and then plays, and before you know it, we're in Arizona.

We got to Temepe around noon on Friday where we headed over to Great Grandparents apartment at the Friendship Village. We spent the afternoon socializing, enjoying a nice lunch, and a little tour around the complex. Then we met up with Andy, Jan, Peg, Clayton, and the Great Grandparents for dinner at the World Famous Rositas Mexican Resteruant.

On Saturday we went over to Aunt Jan's (and Roy's) for a visit, thanks Jan for having us over. Then it was off to Aunt Peg and Clayton's for a BBQ and more family fun. Kaitlyn enjoyed crawling around with Roy and Grandma Pic (Check out the photos). The highlight of the trip was an excellent dinner (nice job Clayton on the Lamb), where we all sat around, ate great food, spilled wine (sorry Peg :( and chatted for a hours. Thank you again Peg & Clayton for wonderful hospitality & for letting us stay with you!! Oh, and we really loved the dessert :-)
Of course, Kaitlyn hammed it up for everyone, playing peek-a-boo, and poking grandpas hand. All and all, it was an excellent trip. We are already looking forward to our next visit!
