Ok here is the big Birthday update. Kaitlyn had her First Birthday Party on August 25th (real Bday on the 30th), it was a noon time party which lasted most of the day. Quite a crowd turned out for it on a hot day, something close to 35 or 40 people. All of her cousins made it, as well as her little play group friends, many family friends, and of course plenty of family members.
Highlights included eating her first piece of cake (actually we had cupcakes) in which she cried during most of it, I don't think she was used to that much attention. Also there was quite the fun in the playroom, where all the kids played with toys. There was also a Pinata in the front yard, and thanks to her older cousins, it was finally busted up and enjoyed by all (all over 2 that is). Gift unwrapping was also a good time, all her little friends were extra helpful in opening the gifts.
So thanks to everyone who came, I hope you had as much fun as we did. For those who didn't make it, we have posted some photos to enjoy from the party!
